The annual show will be held at the Sports Ground, Bideford on Wednesday, June 27th when prizes to the amount of about £250 and 6 silver cups, plate and silver medals will be competed for.

Bideford harbour master's salary has not been increased for 20 years, Ald. R. D. D. Birdwood told the Town Council. And because of harbour finances, no application had been made by the official.
