East-the-Water County Primary School

Pictured are children of the reception class at East-the-Water County Primary School, Bideford, proud winners of the class for children's cavies at last week's Bideford Fanciers' Society Show.

On the table in the centre is Bimbo, a guinea pig which they have been taking care of in their classroom for about two years. Each day the children, on a rota system, bring food for Bimbo, and also take it in turns to feed her and clean out the cage.
