Mr Terrence John Rostock, only son of Mr and Mrs D Rostock, 31 Royston Road, Bideford, and Miss Pamela Irene Joslin, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs D Joslin, 4 Dunn’s Close, Wrafton, were married at St Augustine’s Church, Heanton.
The Rev L Ruffle officiated. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister Pauline and her cousin Sharon Cark, the pageboy, the bridegroom’s cousin, was Peter Joy and best man was Mr Phillip Stevens, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
Following a reception at the Agricultural Inn, Braunton, Mr and Mrs Rostock left for a touring honeymoon.
Among the presents received were bathroom scales and a set of vases from colleagues of Messrs Ford and Lock and an electric blanket and wall heater from Mr Brian Ford. The bride’s and bridesmaids dresses, the pageboy’s outfit and the bride’s going away outfit were all made by the bride’s grandmother, Mrs Windsor. Among those at the wedding were Mr and Mrs Andrew Lynden and daughter, bridegroom’s cousins, home from Lagos, Nigeria.
