The wedding of Mr Michael Day, youngest son of Mr and Mrs R Day, 3 Grenville Terrace, Northam, and Miss Janet Mary Pierce, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs H Pierce, 6 Morwenna Park Road, Northam, has taken place at Northam Congregational Church. 

The Rev A E Green officiated at the service. The organist was Mr H Littlejohns and the bridesmaid was the bride’s sisters Ruth. Best man was the bridegroom’s brother Lawrence. Following a reception at the Royal Hotel, Bideford, Mr and Mrs Day left for a honeymoon in London.
