In the Church Hall,
on Thursday and Friday evenings of last week, Hartland Drama Group added to their list of successes with a presentation of the three-act comedy-thriller 'Brush with a body' (Maurice McLoughlin).
Audience reaction voted it very entertaining and well performed and, as someone added, 'a pleasant change from some of the sexy plays shown on TV.' Harold Lockyear (off-stage the Vicar of Hartland) was a particular favourite as Mr Flaherty, the Irish sweep.
Draw winners were: Jean Ashton and Mrs R Short. Tickets were sold by Jeremy Mugford, Keith Jeffery, Caroline and Rosemary Jeffery, Katherine Lockyear and Thelma Bolton.
