It will break the hearts of many of Torrington's inhabitants -

particularly the young ones - but by Sunday morning all that will be left of this fine looking ship will be ashes.

The vessel, built by Torrington Cavaliers, is destined to be turned into a fiery spectacle when darkness falls tomorrow night as Torrington's unusual contribution to the 1972 Guy Fawkes celebrations.
