£1,000 Mark Hope 

Bideford Parish bazaar, organised by St. Mary’s and St. Peter’s Churches on Wednesday in the Church Institute, has so far raised £911.19 and it is hoped that with further donations the total may reach the £1,000 mark, as it did last year.

The Bazaar was opened by Mr. F. Manning, a member of staff of Haileybury School and son of the late Preb. W. N. Manning who was Rector of Bideford from 1921 to 1946. The present Rector (Preb. T. Derwent Davies) became his curate here in 1945.
