Appledore Girl’s Prize

Featured in this week’s film and entertainment weekly, Picturegoer, under the heading of ‘Meet the winning columnist’ is a local Sunday School teacher, 18 years old Miss Judith Ashley, 21 Irsha Street, Appledore.

Judith, a solicitor’s clerk, goes to London to be the guest of the magazine next week. Said Judith: ‘I’m sure it will be a wonderful visit, meeting all the stars of the show business’.
