Shebbear Young Farmers’ Club have just completed a notable double, giving them a flying start to 1977.

Seen above are David Ley, Keith Hutchings, Mrs Glynis Pincombe and Michael Bridgeman, winners of the County YFC Brains Trust competition.

Earlier this year three of the team – Keith Hutchings and his sister, Mrs Pincombe with Michael Bridgman – won the public speaking cup. The last time such a club double was achieved was six years ago by Swimbridge.
