8.9.1972 Diddywell Manor

Diddywell Manor and annexe, Northam, was sold by auction by Messrs Kivell and Sons, of Bideford, on Tuesday for £20,000.
Purchaser was a Mr Holtzer.
Lower Winsford, near Bideford, described as 'a superior country residence' was offered as a whole or in lots, but was withdrawn - the whole lot at £30,000 and the house at £18,000. The buildings were withdrawn without being offered. The auctioneers say they are now prepared to treat privately.
