Brambleberry, Limers Lane, Northam, a 12 year old four bedroomed detached bungalow, was sold for £19,500 at an auction conducted by Messrs John C Webber and Son. It was bought by Mr H Marsh of Harrow.

Bidding for the bungalow, described as having delightful gardens overlooking the Torridge estuary, began at £15,000. The vendor was Miss J E Fulford.
