Wasps invade house at Beam, nr Torrington
In a top room of the home belonging to Miss Price of Beam near Torrington, the window of which had been left open during the present spell of fine weather, the machine was last used by Miss Price some four or five weeks ago when she left it covered with a piece of cloth.
Wishing to use it again recently, upon lifting the cloth, she found attached to it on the underside a complete wasps’ nest with grubs almost ready to hatch out.
