Headed by May Queen

Headed by the May Queen, 13 year old Eunice Simms with her four attendants – Wendy Simms, Frances Hailwood, Ann Harding and June Pinnick – a floral dance procession wended its way through the streets of Appledore on Saturday.

The event was in aid of the building fund of the Appledore Branch, British Legion, and was organised by the Branch Social Committee.
