Carnival charm at Clovelly

There was plenty of carnival charm and humour at Clovelly on Bank Holiday Monday.

Mounted on a gaily caparisoned donkey, the Carnival Queen (11 year old Beryl Johns) had two stalwart male escorts as well as her young attendants as she rode down the cobbled street.
