Accommodation sold out

On Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday the sun shone brightly and attracted visitors and residents alike. This picture shows the popularity of Westward Ho!

Spare accommodation is very scarce in the district and people have been sleeping out in their cars. At least one family spent a rather cramped uncomfortable night in this manner on Bideford Pill, having arrived without booking accommodation and then being unable to find any.
