Tons of tar removed

Although there was a somewhat poor response last week to Northam Council’s appeal for voluntary help in the task of cleaning tar from Westward Ho! pebbleridge, some seven tons of tar, tarred seaweed and pebbles were collected.

The ‘popular’ part of the ridge from the Slipway to Sandymere is now almost completely clear of tar.
