At Appledore end of Burrows

One of the smaller steel lattice wireless masts which, for about ten years, have been a prominent feature in that corner of Northam Burrows between Northam and Appledore, is in the process of being dismantled.

The mast, which is 325 feet high, is being taken down in 21-feet sections and will be re-assembled in Wales to replace a similar mast damaged in the recent gales.
