Vantage point at Appledore

From a vantage point below the ‘Lookout’, Appledore, the panorama of the estuary stretches out to the bar and here the m.v. ‘Fluidity’ is seen nosing her way in on the flooding tide accompanied by the pilot boat.

This splendid view will greet the residents of the new housing estate which Northam Urban District Council are erecting at West Appledore. The converted huts of the former naval camp there will be removed.
