First for Mr Poole

These quadruplet lambs pictured with their Devon Closewool mother were born last week on the arm of Mr Reggie Poole of Vellstone, Buckland Brewer, and none are more proud than Mr and Mrs Poole’s five children, who are only too eager to help with the bottle feeding of the lambs. The eldest of them, eight year old Frederick, is seen with his father.

Despite the snow and bitter cold on this farm situated on the edge of Thorhillhead Moor, Mr Poole has had a very good lambing season and the quads are the first his flock has produced.
