Orleigh – last of Yeo Mills

The only industrial building in the whole of Bideford Rural District is Orleigh Mill which today is producing more than it has ever done in its centuries of existence.

Mr R.T. (‘Dick’) Sanders whose family have operated the mill for a century is the fourth in the family line of succession. It is the last of a number of mills that used to be worked in the Yeo valley.
