Instow local art show was ‘tremendous success’

Over 100 pictures from all ages

Over a hundred pictures, all the work of artists living in Instow and the immediate neighbourhood of Westleigh and Yelland, most of whom had not exhibited before, were on view at the Rifle Hall, Instow on Saturday.

The idea of the exhibition, organised by Mrs Katharine Tottenham, was to show the unknown talent among the residents of the local community. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr Ronald Duncan, poet, writer and farmer of Welcombe.
