Schoolchildren go on holiday

Its true enough, 400 Bideford residents are leaving town this week and the picture shows one of several lorries of luggage that need to be handled at Bideford railway station. Six times a year the railway staff face this transport item for it reflects the to and fro of 400 boy and girl boarders at Bideford schools from holidays at home.
