Rowing rivalry, water ski-ing thrills, a sunny afternoon, epitomising the glory of the river’s greatest sporting day of the year at Bideford Regatta.

The Quay and east bank, the old bridge, and other vantage points were lined with spectators. General opinion was that this year spectators were more numerous than in some recent years.
