Blackbirds' nest in old camera
The traditional ‘watch the dicky bird’ of the old-time photographer is brought right up to date by a pair of blackbirds. They have made their nest in an old camera in a garden shed at photographer Mr A.C. Littlejohns’ home in Mill Street, Bideford.
When this picture was taken mother blackbird with her tail comfortably eased through the hole where the lens once was, was sitting in four eggs. News of the hatching is eagerly awaited.
