Clovelly's oldest fishing boat
Being prepared for the holiday season is Clovelly’s oldest fishing boat – a Picaroonar, which is a vessel peculiar to the world-famed village.
She was built in 1906 and is used for trips around the coast and occasionally for fishing. She was built by the late Mr Philip Waters of Appledore for Mr William Hamlyn of Bucks Mills.
