Learning about motorcycle scrambling

Anthony Raymont of 32 Clifton Street Bideford, although only 10, is learning about motorcycle scrambling and with his 70 cc. machine he can hold his own with his older fellow enthusiasts.

At present he is much too young for serious competition but at every opportunity he can be seen practising in a field behind his home. On some of his practice runs Anthony meets his father and other local enthusiasts who included 14-year-old Roger Tuck of West View Terrace, second from the left. Other riders above are Terry Osborne and Tony Screech.
