Bideford's new fire and ambulance stations

Bideford now has a brand new fire and ambulance station side by side on the site in Old Town which they formerly occupied but with old and inconvenient premises.

Total cost of the fire station is £22,000 and includes a watch room, drill tower, recreation-cum-lecture room and bay accommodation for three appliances.

There is accommodation for two ambulances and the usual staff facilities. In addition to three full-time men there, services of St John Ambulance volunteers are available.
