A nightmare moment for a van driver

who last week misunderstood directions to the ‘back’ road down to the sea and suddenly found himself bumping down the cobbled stops of Clovelly’s unique High Street!

Turning round to retrace his steps, he needed the help of some local people for the slippery cobbles did not provide a good grip.
