Bideford artist Reginald Lloyd

and his work featured in a recent issue of ‘Canvas’ Westward Television’s monthly magazine of the arts. He finds his inspiration as an artist in the Westcountry, painting abstract landscapes, sculpting and – one of his keenest interests – gaining international recognition as a designer of church interiors.

In the new chapel at the Stella Maris Convent School at Bideford he is doing something he believes no other artist has had the chance to do – design every article and piece of furniture and paint the pictures. This will include the altar, the ironwork altar rails and screen, the pews, the candlesticks and the paining of the Crucifixion.
