Celebrations for 103rd birthday

Formerly of Torrington, where she lived for 67 years, Mrs Mary Mills, now of North Tawton, celebrated her 103rd birthday on Wednesday.

Mrs Mills was born at Weare Giffard. In her nineties she learnt to crochet and she is at present busy making squares for blankets for refugees.

Before moving to North Tawton she was at Dolton for several years.
