In their new boat "Sally-Dall"

Bideford Blues' novices won this season's West of England A.R.A championship, fulfilling a confident hope expressed at the naming of the boat in May.

The championship crew, are John Powe, Barry White, Geoff Giddy (cox), George Powe and Ken Taylor.

All except the cox come from Appeldore.
