Despite last-minute reorganisation,

this crew from the Ladies’ section of Bideford AAC finished second in their event at Bideford Regatta.

Stroke was Mrs Phyllis Plumtree, the former international oarswoman who is now captain of the ladies’ section.

Left to right the crew is: Catherine Davenport, Janet Tilke, Mrs S Newcombe, Mrs P Plumtree, Barbara Nicholls (cox).
