Best junior side in North Devon

This is the Bideford Grammar School Colts XI who recently completed a season in which they won all their nine matches and proved themselves to be not only the best Colts side of the School has produced for years, but also the best junior side in North Devon.

In the picture are: Derek Staddon, Michael Lockyer, Malcom Farley, John Rowson, Roy Cole, John Ingham, John Smith, Derek Whitfield, David Baker, Michael Eastmond, George Squires, Clifford Dark, Robert Pooley, Mr G J Norman (coach), Kenneth Braund, and Roger Hunkin.

Bideford GS Colts Rugby XV also went through the season without defeat.
