Commencement of bowling season

Bideford Bowling Club commenced their season on Saturday by entertaining their neighbours of the Victoria Park Bowling Club and tomorrow play the return match on the Park Green.

The Bideford club, won the first match by four shots.

Victoria Park BC – J Harding, R J Hearn, J Steer, J Ackland, L G Adams, H J Spry, C H Stanbury, R W Branch, R Galsworthy, W G Taylor, K Wicketts, R W Cooper, W Bonner, L W Sussex, W J Nicholls, R Jeffery.
