The wedding was solemnised at St Mary’s Church, Bideford, on April 11th,

of Signalman William D French, Royal Corps of Signals, son of Mrs Frenceh and the late Mr French, of Church Walk, Bideford, and Miss Daisy Kathleen Pennington, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles F Pennington, of Highborough, Pinecroft Terrace, Clovelly Road, Bideford.

The ceremony was conducted by the Rev R Y Stone.
